Sample rate

Hello everyone,

I am new to SCS, i didn't find the answer to my question in the forum or in the help file :
Is it possible to change the audio sample rate in a project?
I have a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 soundcard and SCS locks it to 44.1 KHz. I can't change it in the Scarlett MixControl when SCS is opened because the Asio Driver is "occupied" by SCS, which is normal, and if i change to 48 KHz in the MixControl app before opening SCS, then opening SCS forces it back to 44.1 KHz. I didn't find the option to change the sample rate in the SCS audio config. I would like to do it because all my show files are 48 KHz - 24 bits.

Thanks.

If you are using ASIO then SCS shouldn't change the sample rate of the device - in fact, SCS interrogates the device to determine the driver's current sample rate setting. I've just run a test here with my Roland Octa-Capture which is set to 48KHz and the driver leaves this setting alone, even when playing a 44.1KHz file in SCS. For DirectSound there is a drop-down list available for the sample rate in 'Options' see Audio Driver Options - DirectSound. You could try changing this to 48000.

EDIT :

Thanks Mike for your answer,

i found a solution, i have disabled the soundcard in the windows audio setup for "read" and "record" (don't know the exact name of this setup page in english, but it is when you right-click on the speaker in the windows's task bar, beside the clock) and everything is working fine now, SCS leaves the sample rate untouched when i start it.

thanks for your help!
