Automatic MIDI send to fire redundant laptop?

hey
This may (hopefully) be something simple that I've missed in the software options and in my search through the forum, but I'm looking to set up a redundant computer playing the same playlist as the primary one, so that as many people do in the even of a crash I can switch over.
With two cheap USB MIDI adapters I'd like to just link them together so that when I hit go on the first one the second one receives a MIDI command and fires too. I realise that this wont work properly if I jump cues or use the mouse/cursor keys to a different place on the cue list, but this is rare enough and the playlists are set in stone enough that the very rare time it does happen I can just manually move both.
I do realise that, if it comes to it, I could go through and copy a midi send cue to auto trigger with every manual cue, but it seems a bit of a faff. Is there a way to just globally turn on an auto send for every press of Go?
There seems to be a way to switch this on for the receiving system, and in the Cue Control Devices panel of the show properties you can fairly easily set a midi in and have it respond to note 0 for GO, or a numbered note to trigger a specific numbered cue, and this looks like it'll work globally through the playlist. But I cant seem to find a matching global setting for the sending one so that it just sends a Note 0 on every press of GO.
Does that feature exist? Or is it something that could be easily added?
