advancing cues though stop cue

Post by rohrerrc » Wed Feb 18, 2015 1:42 pm

Sometimes I don't want to run a cue in it's entirety, so I set a stop cue. Sometime I want to run the entire cue and bypass the stop cue. How can I adjust the cue list to skip over the stop cue when not used?

It's our 'policy' not to provide this because it can cause the next cue to be activated if the stop cue is required just shortly before the end of the audio file cue. If the audio file cue actually ended and SCS skipped the stop cue, but the operator activated the 'stop' cue, then SCS would actually start the following manual-start cue. So we have standardized on not auto-completing cues so the operator always fires cues the same way, whether the audio file cue played completely or not.

Hope this is clear!
