Couple of Questions

I realize this might not be the right place for this, but I have a couple of questions:

Is there a way you can make image files in slideshows continuous until you are ready for the next image to go up (like in a powerpoint presentation)? Is there a way to do it without dipping to black? Also how do you crossfade and fade in images?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Make the images separate, manual image cues, with Continuous checked and crossfade times inserted. The image cue will be displayed until you start the enxt image cue. The next image cue should then crossfade in when you start it.
