Show Cue System

I'm currently working on a show in which I will be using my small Akai USB keyboard to play some of the cues (specifically, keys assigned to trigger a number of different sounds depending on what the actors do on stage). I've only used the MIDI control feature once, and that was a couple of years ago, so I remember nothing about how I set it up and will have to figure it out all over again. Right now, the five short plays in this show each have their own .scs11 file (makes it easier to program), but they'll eventually be imported into one file. If I understand the help file correctly, any MIDI control settings I make in one of those files will *not* be retained when they're all combined.

Is there a way to export the settings so I won't have to recreate them?

When you are ready to combine your cue files into a single cue file, the following approach will keep the settings you have specified in your first .scs11 file:

• Open the first .scs11 file
• 'Save As' your desired .scs11 filename
• Import cues from your second .scs11 file
• Import cues from your third .scs11 file
• etc

You will obviously need to ensure the MIDI Cue Numbers are unique across all .scs11 files.
