Show Cue System

Hello,

I was trying out the software before purchasing it to see if it would suit my needs. I built part of the cue list and everything was working fine. I uninstalled SCS, purchased a professional licence then installed the latest stable release. Videos will no longer play. They will play in Windows Media Player, but in SCS I get "Rendering file failed: -2147220950". I updated the software to the next release candidate but that didn't help.

Please help, I need to try to finish this by tomorrow and didn't expect actually paying for the software to give me an issue.

That seems weird if it runs in the demo but not in the non-demo version. Have you tried changing the Video Renderer or the Video Playback Library? See Video Driver Settings in the SCS 11 Help for more info.

SCS 11 still has issues with playing back video. Mike, the developer, is working on it - waiting for an update of the xVideo codec from that developer. In the mean time I suggest you see if you can download an earlier version of the software.
You should be able to download it from the Member Area. Just go to that page, click on Download Archive and you can choose from a list. I recommend 10.9.7.
