[Fixed] Video Playback SCS 11.0.1

We have multiple displays setup using an NVidia Quadro NVS 450.

We can sucesfully output still images to any output, both in preview and live cues.

We have tried MPEG, AVI & WMV files. These will show in preview, but although we get sound in live playback, there is no video image.

Any suggestions please?!

Interestingly I can get it to work if I use SCS 10, by selecting the xVideo option for playback, however this option has adisappeared from the settings in SCS 11.

xVideo is not yet available in SCS 11 as the xVideo DLL is incompatible with the new program. I'm waiting on a new version of xVideo from the xVideo developer.

Meanwhile I have now implemented "DirectShow" as an alternative video playback library and I have emailed you details of a new build of SCS that contains this library handling.

If anyone else wants this urgently then let me know. I have sent details to a few users who were having problems with video playback, and if all reports are good then I'll issue this in the next Release Candidate of SCS 11.1.

Hello Mike

Just got back from hols and have downloaded 11.01 & 11.1 RC and I am also having problems with video in these versions both WMV and AVI will load fine and play first time but then I only get sound and loose video image on second (extened) monitor when I try to play again and even after restarting SCS it will only play audio.
I'll email you the SCS files and Log file

I have provided Chris with a version of SCS 11 that contains a pre-release of the new xVideo, and Chris has reported that this works well. Peter Jackson has also reported this version works well in his environment.
