using telnet on the local machine

Post by charlespuckett » Sat Jun 16, 2012 6:49 am

I've noticed that SCS requires a TCP address. I'm driving a lighting application on the same machine, and it would be swell if I could simply enter "localhost" (pretty standard terminology meaning just that).
As it is, since my laptop acquires a new TCP/IP address (common practice for many wireless-based machines), I have to re-enter the new address the next time I reboot.'
Is there another syntax SCS recognizes meaning the same as "localhost"?
Or does this come under the heading of new feature?
