Show Cue System

As a prospective purchaser of The SCS Pro version, a quick question, which may appear stupid, but I shall ask anyway:

Once a program is set-up and I wish to INSERT a NEW QUE into that existing program, is THAT POSSIBLE? And, how easy is it?

Yes, Steve, it's easy to insert new cues. In the Editor you will see a cue list on the left. Click on the cue prior to where you want to insert a cue, and then click on the appropriate 'Add ... Cue' button, such as 'Add Audio File Cue'.

Using the arrow buttons to the left of the cue list, you can also move cues up and down the list, convert cues to sub-cues, or convert sub-cues to cues.

Which raises a possible change request.

In every other application I use that has tables or similar (eg Word, Excel), insert does so before the current row. Which is why I no doubt when inserting a cue in SCS, it invariably initially ends up in the wrong place.

I see your point, Mike, but the reason is that when you start a new production there are no cues, just a single 'node' in the list which is the Production Properties node. So clicking 'Add...Cue' adds a cue after that node. From memory I recall that Excel asks you if you want to insert a row before or after the currently selected row, which is an extra step in the process.

Correct Mike, top of the class, leave SCS as it is, you soon get used to it
