SCS, Express, Midi and a lockup?

Post by tdecker » Sun Nov 14, 2010 12:55 am

Has anyone had an issue with random lockups on an ETC Express when it is being controlled by MSC via SCS? We just started using SCS to run sound and send go commands via MSC. It works just fine the majority of the time, but occasionally the Express is locking up totally randomly while connected to SCS. Thought it was an ETC issue and have been talking to them, but I just found out that another group in town is having a similar issue. I'm still trying to get details from them as to their setup, but I'm running Windows 7, a EMU Midi Tab, an Express 2448, and the latest version of SCS. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I've emailed you details of a tracing version to run, so I can check what MIDI messages are being sent when the lockup occurs.
