Paused cues resume at original level (10.7.3)

Mike,
I am having a problem with pause and resume of cues, in that when I resume a cue, it comes back in at the original level, not the level it was at when it was paused!
I have a standard audio file cue at -6, followed by a level change cue to -15, followed by a pause and hibernate and then by a resume, and the cue resumes at -6. Even if I add a level change cue after the resume, auto-starting at 0 after start of the resume with a zero fade time to reset the level, I still get a short blast at -6 which is very noticeable.
Surely when a paused cue is resumed it should carry on exactly as it was when paused?
Also - I'd like to be able to change the level whilst the cue is paused, so that I can resume it a different level, but a level change cue that is run when the main cue is paused has no effect.
Thanks
