HELP - Cannot open a new project...

I just installed the software in my desktop, and the laptop I use for running shows. The laptop is working fine, but in the desktop, I open the program, and it doesn't respond when I hit the NEW button. Nothing responds. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times now. Help?

Try holding down the Right Ctrl Key while you start SCS. (It must be the Right Ctrl Key, not the Left Ctrl Key.) This forces SCS to ignore ASIO drivers, and the symptoms you have explained are possibly caused by some clash between SCS and an ASIO driver. You can release the Right Ctrl Key when you see the splash screen.
