We are planning on getting SCS professional for my school in the next couple of months. I was wondering because at the moment we run projections off PowerPoint and we cant do audio with un unless we cue up the sound with the DSM (who dose the projections) very well witch is quite hard to do. So we are planning on using the AV feature on SCS, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if its any good, if they liked using it, how hard it is to use, what they thought about it.

SCS will play videos with audio quite happily, if you need to capture screens from powerpoint you could try using FRAPS or another similar program which will capture screen to a video.
SCS will only play audio files & certain video file types, it will not play .pps files.

I think that you'll be very impressed if you decide to use SCS to play your video presentations. The video start/end points can be very helpful when making last minute changes and there's not time to re-edit something.
Not only can you play videos but if you use a combination of manual and auto-starts you can display still images (logos, photos etc...) in between the videos and whilst audio tracks are playing.
Also check out the 'Playlist' feature . . . very handy for pre-show music and intervals etc...
Cheers . . . Martin
