Odd quirk when using Hot Key cues in a list (fix in 10.6.1)

Sorry about the poor subject title - I couldn't think of how to compact the problem in a short description.

I built a show and included a couple of cues that trigger off of Hot Keys. I wrote these cues in with the other cues and left them in order, mostly because I could then have a visual reference when they come up in the show by looking at the screen.
During sound check I play a few cues that come after the Hot Key cues. When I hit Escape to stop the currently playing cue, the program resets itself to the cue that comes right after the Hot Key cues on the cue list, regardless of which cue I was playing.
For example - my Hot Key cues are Q7.1 and Q7.2. Q8 is the next cue. During sound check, I'll play any cue that comes after the Hot Key cues, such as Q28. While Q28 is playing, I'll hit ESC. The program will then reset to Q8. If I play, say, Q15 and hit ESC, the program will reset to Q8. No matter what cue I played that came in the cue list after the Hot Key cues, the program reset to Q8 after hitting ESC.
The workaround for this was to move the Hot Key cues to the bottom of the cue list, but this means they aren't visible in the cue list window when they come up in the show (although yes, the Hot Key window is visible and my script is clearly marked).

Anyone else have this problem or can replicate it?
I'm running SCS 10.6.0 on a Compaq Presario V6000 laptop with XP Media Center SP3 and an M-Audio Fast Track Pro USB external sound card. The SCS internal mixer is off. I've set the program to preload 10 cues.

I'll run some tests on this shortly. After hitting ESC, SCS should be resetting the cue list to the first cue that was stopped by ESC, but in my previous tests I've always had any hot key cues at the end of the cue list.
