Buzzing on unused outputs during playback

Hello Mike,
this is a further development regarding the ongoing issue with using SCS and a M-Audio Firewire 410. We have reinstalled Windows XP and are still experiencing random buzzing on the outputs that are not being used to playback a cue. This is happening using 40.0 and 40.1. We have experienced no difficulties with the last four shows. I have experimented using different cables, different Firewire 410 devices, and different PC's. A technical note regarding the use of NEC components to provide the FIrewire 400 interface has been ruled out. Different PC's with different chipsets still produce the same random buzzing on the unused outputs. The output volume of the channels that play the sound cue reduces at the same time. The only consistant is the version of the operating system, Windows XP SP3. This fault did not manifest itself when the operating system of the Playback PC was SP2. The firmware of the Firewire 410 has been updated and the most current device drivers from M-Audio are being used.
I will try to downgrade the PC Operating System back to SP2 and give it a try.
