Help! SCS 10 Running double speed

My laptop is running Scs 10 Demo at double speed on the internal speakers it works fine using scs 9. any suggestions - It is a toshiba Equium A100-147 laptop with an ac97 sound card running xp, If I use my M audio firewire 410 it all works fine. :?:

Not sure why this would happen. When you get double-speed, could you go to the Production Properties in the Editor, and tell me what Physical Device(s) you have selected?
