Sound bleeding through inactive channels

Hello all,
I have gone through a heck of tech week with this program that is usually rock solid, hopefully there is someone out there in SCSaudioland that can help.
I loaded all cues onto my laptop and played them through the laptop speakers and a set of desktops that I attached to an onboard sound card, designed everything and had nothing left to do but set levels at the theatre, or so I thought. Transfered everthing to the theatre desktop computer running SCS10.2 through a new Auzen x-plosion 7.1 card, by creating and moving a production folder . I reassigned the channels to reflect the new sound card my FOH was fine, but the other assignments, and I tried many combinations, would not separate left/right and would bleed through the FOH a various levels. As it was a new sound card I blamed it and went to a previously used and proven external USB Sound Blaster 5.1 card wit hthe same results.
I then went to SCS9.5.3 with the auzen card with the same results as SCS10.2, but things finally worked out when I tried that old SB external card. I copied the assignments into SCS10.2 and had the bleed through problem again. So, if anyone can offer an explaination as to what is happening and how to fix it in 10.2 I would appreciate it.
Our show is now stable and I will not be experimenting until after closing night
