Hi, could anyone help. I'm a newbe and only had v10.3.1 for just 2 weeks. Everytime I open the program it asks me to register it. I fill in the details and it says i have been accepted. after I use it for a while and close it down when I re-open it it asks for registration again. Thanx in advance for helping.

I've had one other user report this problem, and it seems to be due to Vista's registry control and "registry virtualization". Yuk! I'm hoping to provide a permanent fix shortly, but meanwhile this user found the following solution: "even though I am an administrator, I had to log on as administrator and install and it now retains the details."
Let me know how you go with this.

Sorry: I forgot to include that i was using Vista (6.0.6001) Ultimate. I am already the administrator, guest account is OFF. I have tried to re-install but without success. I have recently defrag'd computer and registry but did the re-install after that.

I've changed the SCS internal registration procedure in 10.3.2 so hopefully this will now cope with the vagaries of Vista.

I am having similar problems which appear to have started after my last Win 10 update. I am still using SCS 9.5.4 which suits me perfectly so I have no plans to upgrade at the moment.

Unfortunately I cannot make further changes to SCS 9, but does the following help?

Mike- Thanks for the advice. Opened SCS9 by right clicking on the icon, then open as administrator, entered registration details when prompted. This appears to have solved the problems which have occured since my last Windows 10 update (Jan 17). If there are any further recurrences, I will post here. thanks again
