I, am new to SCS only used the Demo version so far, I want to know which is the best Source to use, do I use a PC with sound card or a PC with external Sound Card, and what about a Laptop with external sound card or any other sound source that would do the job any better?. I have used an all-in-one PC with a on board sound card(5.1 dolby) using Q-it but this was stolen. Can anyone advise please?.

Any sound card, internal/external on a Desktop pc or external on a laptop will be OK. Just don't use the onboard headphone 3.5mm output.
Before you get a sound card, decide how many outputs/inputs you require and balanced or unbalanced.
Plenty of info on here regarding suitable cards, just search
