This release is just a bug-fix release. The release date of 11.3.8 has been back-dated to that of 11.3.6 so if your update plan expired after the release of 11.3.6 you can still download 11.3.8.
If you are using SCS 11.3.6 or 11.3.7, please download and install this new release.
Two very important fixes are included in 11.3.8:
- Fixed an error that could cause the production database (the .scsdb file) to grow significantly in size, potentially causing the SCS Editor to freeze.
- Fixed an error in processing the 'loop release' of a cue that contains a cross-fade loop, if the loop release occurs during the period of a cross-fade, and if the cue is subsequently followed by a Level Change cue or some other activity that adjusts the level of the primary output channel of the audio file cue. The error resulted in the audio output being muted when the Level Change cue was activated.
