will SCS mdi trigger Cuelux

I work in a community theatre where we have SCS licence and use it to trigger scenes recorded in Jands Event 24/48 desk. Can we use SCS to midi trigger cue lists in Cuelux. If not what software would do the job as we want to stop programming via the desk.

I have no experience with CUELUX, but a quick scan of the user manual yields the following:

Generic Midi-map
Next to the hardware specifc midi-maps, Cuelux also ofers a generic midi-map in which all the software
functions that can be controlled through MIDI are assigned to Note or Control Change message. This
midi-map is intended for use with external MIDI software like sequencers or DAWs.

Since SCS can send Note and Control Change messages via MIDI, I'm reasonably confident it can talk to CUELUX. I didn't see any details on this generic MIDI map in the UG, but perhaps it's in another document.

Thanks for the reply Bruce, like you we have no experience with Cuelux.

The reason we asked was that we are searching for software to take full advantage of our new DMX lights and we tried QLC+ which can be triggered by SCS but it seems to suffer unexplained crashes. If anyone can recommend reasonably priced DMX software we would be grateful.
