Hi,

Im a new user of SCS and io wanted to get a little more info on what its video output capabilities are especially its ability to cope with live feeds? Having used Qlab quite a lot in the past i know it can be done on that program but can be a little tricky.

My department has a full SCS licence and we currently use it for sound and video playback with great ease.

Does anyone have any tips/advice if its at all possible?

Thanks

Sam

SCS does not currently support live video feeds, although I've started work on implementing this feature. There's currently a limitation in the video library I'm using (xVideo) in that although live video is supported, there's no facility for listing the available cameras. I could implement an interim solution that always uses 'camera 1'. Any comments on this proposed interim solution - from anyone reading this topic?

Thanks for this.

As a drama department at a university we often use live camera feeds and are currently using an analogue vision mixer to do simply effects such as fade out/in etc. Having the ability to do this on SCS would be a great option for us, and im sure others using SCS.

Any further updates on the 'solution' you are suggesting would be great, it would be great to experiment with!
