[In 11.2.1] Drag and drop in SCS 11

Post by Tewkesound » Sat Sep 15, 2012 6:36 pm

Hi,

I have just upgraded from SCS 10 to 11, and seem to have lost the ability to drag and drop files into the cue list. There was no problem doing this with 10, and indeed this still works with 10.9.4 that I still have installed.

This problem seems to occur in both 11.0.1 and 11.1.0. I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

When I open the SCS Editor window, and drag audio files over the cue list, Windows just shows the "circle with a line through it" pointer. Bizarely I have found that I can drag and drop into a playlist.

Am I doing something fundamentally stupid?

Many thanks,

Rob

I haven't implemented this feature yet in SCS 11, partly because 'add audio file cue' in SCS 11 allows you to select multiple files to create multiple cues. It's a while since I looked into implementing drag-and-drop, but I'll have another look at what's involved.

Ah-ha - That would explain it then! I like the multi-import capability, and can easily change my way of working.

Anyway, thanks for the cracking software Mike.

Personally, I really (really) would like (love) to drag and drop an audio file into the cue list. A few of my colleagues have moaned about not being able to do that as well!
Spontaneous changes is the thing that I want to do quickly, either dragging a file into the cue list to make a new cue, or dropping into the file box of an existing cue.
