List of Changes
The following changes are included in 10.9.6:
- It appears that Windows has changed the structure of audio device names ('physical device names'). Sometimes this seems to be affected by the USB port your USB sound interface is connected to. For example, the DirectSound device name for the first stereo pair on an Edirol UA-101 used to be named "1-2 (UA-101)" but Windows now names it "1-2 (2- UA-101)". Similar changes have been reported with other equipment. The result is that SCS can report that it cannot find a device named in a Device Map simply because of this name change. SCS 10.9.6 has been changed so that if an exact match is not found then it will 'try again' ignoring a pattern like "n- " immediately after the first "(", where "n" is any number. This 'try again' comparison also ignores all spaces within names.
- Fixed a couple of errors.
