10.7.4 problems with playlist sub-cue

Post by d_korman » Sun Nov 14, 2010 10:09 pm

Hi Mike,

I'm working on some complex cues for a radio play and am getting some random misbehaviours around sub-cues not resetting when I back up and similar issues. Very hard to document as they are not repeatable.

However, I have two problems that are repeatable:

1) after I play a cue that has an audio file and a playlist file subcue, when I stop the cue and then play it again I get a very short burst of the 1st playlist file (about 0.2 seconds, if that) at its full volume (it has a fade in set), then it drops to the correct level and fade in.

2) If I add relative start time to the playlist cue, the fade in time is ignored.

Thanks,

Dave

Our's does that burst of audio with the playlist que, as well. But, since we haven't needed to restart a playlist que from a cold (so, not using hibernate) except during tech, it hasn't been an issue for us.

Can you email me a cue file (.scs file) that does this? I've tried to reproduce the error but I'm not getting the short burst - the fade in works correctly every time.

Confirmed. I'll work on a fix.
