stuttering sound (solved)

Hello,
I am runing SCS from a netbook that match the requirements but Iam getting an ocasional stuttering sound. The OS is Win XP. I have done all the optimising suggested at the FAQ except for fixing the DMA transfer becouse I could not figure out how to do it since my HD is SATA and not IDE. The stuttering does not happen when I use other software, like winamp. Can somebody help me?
