Errors on start-up (solved)
On start-up I am seeing imediate error "Error 429 ActiveX component can't create object SCS 10.6.1 (Demo) ProcName=get TempFolder CueFile= ". If I continue I get "Error 91 Object variable or block variable not set SCS 10.6.1 (Demo) ProcName=get TempFolder CueFile= ". If I continue the program appears to work normally. I do not get this problem on my laptop. I believe this may be due to a missing, unregistered or wrong DLL file. I do not know which though. Any assistance appreciated.

The error is probably due to Scrrun.dll not being installed or registered on your computer. SCS uses a function in this dll to determine the location of your 'temporary' folder, which is where SCS keeps the recovery file. Scrrun.dll is not distributed with SCS as it is expected to be already installed and registered.

Spot on. Downloaded file, registered it and the problem has gone away. Only question is where did my scrunn.dll go? O well one of life's mysteries.
