visual warning / time remaining

Post by enigmatheatre » Fri Mar 27, 2009 7:24 am

Hi
Just a quick question about the visual warning before the end of a track.

I have found that it is out of sync with the time remaining timer for the track by one second.
I guess that it is because the timer stops at 1 and not 0 as the remaining time dose. If this is the case can the timer goes to zero? Would this solve the problem?

I love this feature as I clone the second monitor output of my pc and send it down cat5 to the stage for reference by stage management. This saves me giving running updates on the track time remaining. :D

Thanks

I don't think it is, although there may be a perception that it is out by one second. For example, when the time remaining hits 5.00 seconds then the visual warning (which only shows seconds) displays 5, and it stays at 5 until the time remaining hits 4.00. So when the time remaining is 4.99, 4.98, etc down to 4.01, the visual warning continues to display 5. Taking this to the final second, the visual warning will display 1 when there is 1.00 second to go.
