Greetings. I am experiencing a most unusual error, and perhaps some of you folks might have an idea what is going on.
I have been using SCS 8.4 with a professional license for a while now on this laptop. Recently I upgraded to SCS 9.3.6, and have been experiencing a curious error. When I launch SCS, my computer simultaneously starts launching an AutoCAD installer. The installer will pop up a couple boxes which I cancel. When SCS finally launches, all the toolbars and on-screen controls are disabled. I can hit the demo hotbuttons and get sounds, but everything else is disabled. An SCS error shows up when I ESC, stating Invalid Procedure Call or Arguement for both setCuePosition and stopEverything. Usually I have to open up Task Manager to stop SCS. I have attempted reinstallation of everything several times with and without virus blocker to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas?
Conflicts with SCS9 and AutoCAD 2007
Bit of a "Me Too!"
I've emailed Mike with this one, and I'm really adding it here so that all the info is in one place.

Every time I open an edit or option window, TurboCad goes into an install mode. I don't know what it is trying to install, or why! Once I have told it to cancel, it SCS seems to be happy until it has been restarted.
I believe I was using 9.3.2, but I spotted the issue on my lap-top that I seldom use for SFX
Why didn't life's problems hit me while I was still a teenager, and knew everything?
Re: Conflicts with SCS9 and AutoCAD 2007
I'm having this same problem with SCS10 and Revit Structure and Revit Architecture 2008 by Autodesk. As soon as I try to open SCS, Revit installer opens and then both programs freeze up. If I end Revit, then SCS closes too. I haven't been able to open the program since I got SCS. I can't remove these programs because I need them for class. Any ideas?
