"Auto Activate Cue must be selected"
I'm trying to get to grips for the first time with programming a (Audio) subcue, so that it does "Auto start" "5 seconds" after "start of cue" (meaning the main cue). But every time I think I've finished programming it, a window pops up saying "Auto Activate Cue must be selected". Select what, how? ...

Re: Focusrite Scarlett18i20 audio interface problem
Problem now solved with assistance of excellent Focusrite email helproom. You were of course correct Mike that I should select "ASIO (using BASS)" for the Audio Driver and "Focusrite USB Audio" for the Physical Device. What I then failed to do was the blindingly obvious (now), to open up the Outputs...

Re: Focusrite Scarlett18i20 audio interface problem
Thanks Mike, but that doesn't help either, just gives me one "Focusrite USB ASIO" stereo channel. Selecting the "Direct Sound" audio driver gives one "Focusrite USB Audio" stereo channel plus the other conventional cards/software on the computer i.e. Realtek etc. Will keep trying.

[Resolved] Focusrite Scarlett18i20 audio interface problem
Our old Windows XP computer with M-Audio soundcard having failed (hard drive), we have installed a completely new setup using Windows 10 computer and the Scarlett 18i20 2nd generation audio interface, which uses a USB 2.0 connection to the computer. All software is up-to-date having loaded Windows 1...

Re: Replacement Souncard for Delta 1010LT
Thanks for the advice Eric and Mike, that's very helpful. Yes it looks like a laptop and audio/midi interface, probably USB 2.0, is the way to go. I now realise that this combination seems to be so commmon now for music production/mixing that hopefully compatibility problems should be minimal. My av...

Replacement Souncard for Delta 1010LT
We are a small amateur theatre in the UK Northwest and currently run SCS on a desktop with WinXP and an M-Audio Delta 1010LT soundcard (mounted in the computer) running 4 x 2 channels outputted to four stereo amplifiers. This set-up is several years old and for various reasons (not least loss of one...
