Re: Win 7 SP1 and M-Audio WDM Drivers - Still an Issue?

Thanks Mike! That's a bummer.... Is it just M-Audio? I ask only because as you may remember from conversations we've had previously, I play multitrack click tracks back through SCS, and to best sync WAV files together ASIO needs to be off... What would you reccomend within the M-Audio price range fo...

Win 7 SP1 and M-Audio WDM Drivers - Still an Issue?

Hi guys, Before I go and order my new laptop for SCS, which will upgrade me to Win 7, are there still issues with the M-Audio WDM drivers only allowing access to the first channel outs? I was thinking of getting the FastTrack USB 8 in 8 out unit.... And for a future project, I wanted to plug in my P...

SCS11 Intro Videos - No MTC?

I've just watched the introductory videos about SCS 11. Some interesting (and very useful!) changes and updates. There was a mention from Mike in the feature requests forum in response to a query about MIDI Time Code, that it would be implemented in 11. Has this not come to pass? The videos make no ...

Re: I have this computer kicking around...

Hi Mike, Theoretically yes I can use the WDM drivers for the interface (it's a Tascam FW1804). Do you mind me asking why one would choose WDM over ASIO? It's probably me being slightly snobbish, but in general I would always choose ASIO over any other driver on Windows (incidentally, it's a custom d...

I have this computer kicking around...

...well, not kicking, but not doing much apart from collecting dust. If it could be pressed into service with SCS it will save a new PC! It's an ACER M1640, so an el-cheapo PC, but do you reckon it might work (before I install Windows and check)? The spec is: - Pentium Dual Core E2160 1.8 GHz - 2GB ...

Re: Coming out of a loop on a cue?

Thanks Peter. That will certainly be useful for vamping click tracks! Panto here we come.... (oh God  ) The world of 3 piece bands sounding like a Disney Orchestra!

Do you know if I purchase 10 now will I be entitled to the 11 upgrade?

Re: Coming out of a loop on a cue?

Hopefully answering my own question, is it the: "RELEASE from Loop and then play until end point" function that I need to use? Can I confirm that this will not jump directly to the loop end point, but continue through the loop until it reaches the loop end and then carry on to the end of the file? C...

Coming out of a loop on a cue?

Hi guys, I'm new to SCS, so forgive the possibly newbie question. I know that it is possible to loop audio in SCS, but is it possible to have a section looping and then on a cue, play on at the end of the loop (wherever in the loop the cue is triggered). I'm thinking in terms of click tracks and vam...
