Hi Mike,
I hope you are well.
(Socially-distanced) Christmas show time again and this year we are running with 2 additional monitors: one to project images on stage, the other to present show intro and outro slides to our live stream audience.
When developing the cue file on my home PC, with no additional monitors attached, occasionally some of the on stage slides appear full size on my laptop screen instead of being previewed in the SCS preview window on my laptop screen, as though my laptop screen has somehow become one of the additional monitors. I can recover by using ESC to return to SCS but the display is not normal. As you can see from the attached screenshot, an additional phantom window remains (in the top left hand corner - its icon appears in the tool bar). This is despite all my on stage slides being set to Screen 2.
Even when running on the theatre PC with both additional monitors attached, if I preview the slides in the SCS editor I sometimes end up with lots of these phantom windows appearing along the windows toolbar.
There doesn't seem to be a pattern to which slides cause this problem and eventually it seems to go away although what the exact sequence of steps I take to stop this I couldn't say: sometimes, but not every time, stopping and restarting SCS cures it.
I am running SCS 11.8.3.2 (x64). I will email you the screenshot and log files separately because apparently they are too large to attach to this post.
Best wishes
Stuart
