I am using SCS 11.7.1(x64)
Build 2018/07/12
I have one audio file (cue) and multiple lighting cues driving an ENTTEC DMX USB PRO (RDM to USB 2.0 interface). Some of the lighting cues come very close together so I hid the cues on playback thinking updates to the screen were causing cues to be skipped but this did not help. Switching to PERFORMANCE MODE from DESIGN MODE seemed to reduce the frequency of cue skipping and SCS crashes. The cues being skipped are random. Sometimes only one cue is skipped and other times multiple cues are skipped. There are times when a cue is skipped that has several seconds before and after them that only have the audio cue playing which was very surprising and on some playbacks no cues are skipped.

Re: Random Cues Skipped when using DMX output
With SCS 11.7.1 a log file will have been created and saved as a zip file in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents" or "My Documents", and the name of the file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started. For a run in which cues were skipped, could you email me the (zipped) log file and tell me which cue(s) were skipped?
Regarding the crash, could you email me the log file for that run as well? This log file will not have been compressed as the run did not successfully end, so that log file will have a .log extension.

Re: Random Cues Skipped when using DMX output
Hi Mike,
The two log files are attached. The crash happened on the first run of the program after turning the computer on. Then I restarted SCS and the 4 skipped cues happened on the first run of the restarted SCS program.
Let me know if there is anything else you need to sort this out.
Thanks,
Rick

Hi Again,
Apparently I can't attach the crashed log file to appear in the forum - Maximum allowed length is 256 KB but the un-zipped log file is 2.65Mb long.
