[Resolved] Video files not rendering

Post by denthemen » Fri Jun 23, 2017 5:46 am

HI Mike,
I've been using SCS since Version 9 and I have got my first problem!
Version 11.1.0 Build 2012/09/07 08:55
I'm running a dance show with a mix of Video and audio cues that start off OK on load and then, part way through I get video cues showing:
"Error: Rendering File Failed: 262722"
Mid-Show there doesn't appear to be anything I can do other than stop and reload the .scs file and start from where I left off.
As I have hibernating cues this is troublesome to say the least.
Some cues are also not completing leaving 0.01 secs to go and just freezing.
I have attached the diagnostic as requested.
Show runs on Sunday - any help would be appreciated

There have been significant improvements to video handling since 11.1.0 so I recommend you upgrade to the latest version: 11.6.2. Download the version of SCS 11.6.2 that includes LAVFilters, and use TVG for the video playback library. TVG is the default video library for the 64-bit version of SCS but not for the 32-bit version. I am confident that using TVG with LAVFilters installed will fix this rendering problem.

Hi Mike,
I purchased the latest version, loaded it up and it worked like a dream!
I'll just have to keep my update licence topped up in the future.
Many thanks

Den
