SCS 11

Post by South Downs College » Fri Mar 24, 2017 9:23 pm

Hi,

I have a brand new version of SCS11 on a brand new laptop. On a current show file a cue will play fine (MP3 format) but when revisiting a cue it will not trigger and the message 'buffer not found' appears. It's not the same cue every time that freezes and on occasion the whole show file will play right through with no glitches. The files are being taken from a desk top folder not a USB stick. If I come out of SCS and re-start then this does cure the issue but not everytime.

Urgent help required!!!

Hi
I'm an SCS user not far away from you - Station Theatre, Hayling (unless it's a completely different South Downs College). Can't say I recognise your problem but if you want to talk it through with someone I'd be happy if you give me a call. If you can't get it fixed, be sure to send Mike a Diagnostic File as described in the Bug Reports section of the forum.
I'll send you a PM with my numbers.

This is a strange error that has been thrown by the BASS audio library (which is used by SCS for audio playback). If you still need help I've emailed you details of a tracing version to run.
