I make very basic use of SCS for supporting school productions. I have recently moved my installation on to a Windows 10 laptop. I have a sound card attached to the laptop through a USB socket.
I find that whilst I can output audio fine through the headphone socket, I get no output from SCS through the USB connected soundcard. Other audio is output quite happily through the USB soundcard.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

PC output options
Re: PC output options
Hi Tim,
The solution could be to change device map.
Open Editor,
Select the top of the cue list (Production name)
Select devices in de frame of the right,
And change the physical Device.
Hope this helps,
Lluís

Re: PC output options
Many thanks for your rapid and helpful reply. This is not an area that I have had to explore previously so I will read carefully. At the moment there is only one device available for selection so clearly I need to do a little more work to add another device.

You MUST have the usb device connected to the computer and turned on before you start SCS.
You do not need to ADD devices to SCS. It must find all devices availlable in the computer.
In the box "Audio Driver" you should have "DirectSound (using BASS)" and in the first box below "Physical Device" you must be able to select any device availlable in your computer.

Lluís
