I have a minor request for a feature of the Editor Sidebar.
In the shows I produce, I use the MIDI Cue# exclusively for sequencing my cues. On the main display I actually exclude the standard Cue#, as it really serves me no purpose. But on the Editor Sidebar, only the standard Cue# is displayed, which makes it impossible to quickly identify the standard Cue# from the list to which my MIDI Cue# is attached, without clicking on the Cues individually in order to bring up the detail Cue information. By the time I am done editing a show, the MIDI Cue#s are in sequence, but the Standard Cue#s are anything but. So it becomes a challenge to easily find what I'm looking for. If the MIDI Cue# was part of the Editor Sidebar display, I could go directly to the target Cue without hunt-and-peck searching for it or having to cross-reference the standard Cue# to MIDI Cue# from the production display.
I would like to have an option for the Editor Sidebar display either the MIDI Cue#, the Standard Cue# or both. It would be ideal if there were a way to control the columns displayed on the Editor Sidebar in the same manner as the Cue List Columns - Design Mode panel. But I would be fine with simple checkboxes that would allow the inclusion/exclusion of Cue# and MIDI Cue# displays in it.

Re: Columns in Editor Sidebar
Interesting idea, Dan. Do all your cues have a MIDI Cue #?
Re: Columns in Editor Sidebar
Not every cue has a MIDI cue# - some are autostart, and others are Time based. But since my light board drives SCS via MIDI sends, it's the MIDI cue numbers that are important when I am editing/debugging a show.
As long as the MIDI Cue# was presented next to the standard Cue# in the Sidebar that would suffice. Perhaps its presentation in the Sidebar could be keyed from the checkbox that is used to include the MIDI column in the main display. That is, if it is included on the main display, then include it in the Sidebar too.

Done. Mod will be included in the next release.Dan wrote:Perhaps its presentation in the Sidebar could be keyed from the checkbox that is used to include the MIDI column in the main display. That is, if it is included on the main display, then include it in the Sidebar too.
btw, the next release will also have a new cue property for 'page' (ie script page number). This page property will also be displayed in the Editor's cue list if it is included in the main display.
Re: Columns in Editor Sidebar
That's awesome Mike! I have often included page number in my cue description, so the additional page number key will free up some description space too. Thanks!!
