audio file visualization (in SCS 9)

Post by jematab » Sun Apr 30, 2006 11:25 pm

Hi Mike,
In editor, large audio file, (greater than 100 Mb ?) are not displayed, but a button "display graph" permit this display ... I using a lot of large file for dance show (but under the limit of 100 mB) ! A possibility of choice for : graph display or not, or a choice of this limit will be useful.
With larges files select start and end point with right and left click is difficult , a zoom can made this easier.
Excuse my very poor english, Thanks, SCS is a great software !

In the Editor, the "display graph" button is displayed if the length of the audio file is 10 minutes or more. I did this because displaying the graph is fairly slow on a large file, and it could be quite annoying to wait for this display to complete if you are just wanting to look at or change other details of the cue. I could include an option to allow you to set your own threshhold.

I'll look into providing a zoom facility (I knew someone would ask for this!)
