Video Cue Display When No Second Diisplay Device

We occasionally test video cues when there's really no second device attached. In that case, SCS places a small display of the video on the SCS show screen. However, sometimes that little preview is on top of stuff we'd like to see. It would be nice if we could move that little pane/window around.

Or is there already a way to do that, and we just don't know how?

Looks like a bug or an oversight. When you just have a single display available the video image should be displayed just like the regular monitor display, with a title bar (containing the display number, eg 2) that you can drag to a new location.

Thanks, Mike.

I am on a new laptop tonight, and it does, indeed, show the title bar. On my old laptop, there was no such bar.

All is well.

Same version of SCS on both laptops?

hey, I believe I have a similar issue. The preview on my main screen (screen 1, same screen as cues) is in a position I don't like and I seem unable to click and drag it. Is there a fix for this?

You should be able to click and drag the preview display. Try using the Special Start (hold down a shift key while you start SCS) and select 'Clear saved window positions and sizes' and then click OK and open your production.

If that doesn't help, note that a log file will have been created and saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of the file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started. Please email me a relevant log file.
