Interacting with the Remote App Interface

I’m interested in an iPad solution for controlling SCS, and have been looking at StreamDeck (the app) and Touch Portal.

I’m a developer myself so happy to do the work, and share it, but wondering if there is documentation on interacting with the Interface that you’ve obviously embedded in SCS in order for the remote app to work?

Hi,

I am very interestet in developing a plugin for the Elgato Streamdeck. I am also a developer and would be happy to share my progress here. It would be great someone could share some documentation with me, as wasn‘t able to correctly identify all details in the TCP packages sent.

Someone has already beaten us to it. (I had to hold off on my work as both my PCs needed upgrading to be able to install the software - however I do now have StreamDeck on my iPad and the Bitfocus companion running for it)

Hi Peter,

Would it still be possible for me to get the documentation for app interface as it seems to be only way to get the current cue status and name from SCS. I would also like to write a Streamdeck plugin without the need for companion.

Let us know how you get on - I haven't actually used the SCS companion plugin yet, I just saw it there when I was setting up my new HyperDeck recorders and PTZ cameras.

I just took a glance a the code and it seems like the companion plugin uses the OSC interface of SCS.

I can confirm that the API Mike/Simone will send you is for OSC interaction.

I have a copy as of November 2021 but i'm waiting for them to either respond or confirm I can share it with you.
