I've been using SCS Remote for awhile. Usually the last couple of rehearsals before opening.
However, since upgrade to scs 11.7, scs remote will not connect. Now I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Tried switching between the wired and wireless connection to the link sys. Tried changing ports etc. etc.
We're using a dedicated Linksys. Only the QU32, Android Moto G, and a WIndows system with SCS running, are attached. and the Android works fine controlling the QU32.
Any ideas?

Tried it at home, and scs remote worked fine with scs 11.7, so install must be ok. Must be related to windows config.

FWIW, Windows Update reset the firewall and blocked the SCS ports. As soon as I opened them scs remote connected!

I had a similar problem and it took me hours to figure out why the remote wasn't connecting with my computer.
Turned out it was my VPN program that caused the problem.
Although i wasn't connected through the VPN, my VPN program
has a setting which renders your computer invisible on the LAN.
And of course i had turned it on and had forgotten about it. Stupid me

I have the same problem, but I can not figure out if the problem depends on the PC or the phone. I can no longer use the app. Once started it can not connect to the PC. I also tried to change the port and IP but nothing. Can you give me advice? What should I check and what to change to return to using the app?
I use Windows 7 and I have a Samsung S4.
