maybe it's just me and my aversion against forums in general, but as a SCS customer/user I'd rather report bugs in a "bugtracker" (as known from other software projects, although they are mostly "open source" and/or have multiple developers) than in a forum post - maybe it's overkill, but I think their structure would help me to report bugs and perhaps it would also help you, Mike, to "keep track of bugs"...

The forum category "Feature Requests" could already qualify as a kind of a wishlist - even though it lacks a certain structure since it's a forum and puts an emphasis on discussion of diverse topics instead of a structured overview of requests that are to be reviewed, are rejected or implemented.

Of course it's another "application" to host on your website. And maybe it would be a compromise if you'd create a new forum "bugs", so that I don't need to post a bug report between usage questions and general rant in the "SCS general" category.

I did use a bug tracker for SCS 10 beta testers. This product was quite good and integrated with this Forum software (phpBB). But there were a few issues I had with the bug tracker, regarding both functionality and security. Unfortunately, the developer of the product appears to have lost interest in it - the last release was in March. One useful feature was that as it integrated with phpBB, users registered with the Forum did not need yet another login to access the bug tracker - I just had to add these users to a Forum group.

I haven't looked for a replacement for a while, but if anyone can recommend a product I'm interested. The product will have to run on my web site using PHP and MySQL. Also, some products require low-level functions that I cannot run as a customer of my service provider - yes, I have asked!
