Maybe a good idea is to trasnform a sub-cue in a cue or vice versa. Can be a special paste option. For example, you copy a cue and when you paste you could have the option to paste as sub-cue and vice versa.

Sub-cue to cue and vice versa (help updated in 10.1.2)
Re: Sub-cue to cue and vice versa
This facility already exists (not by paste) in SCS 10.1.1. See the arrows to the left of the cue list in the Editor. Their action is described in the Help File in "Starting and Using the Editor" under "Move cues or sub-cues" and detailed in "Cue Movements".

Re: Sub-cue to cue and vice versa
I should probably rename Cue Movements in the Help file, because the ability to create cues from sub-cues and vice-versa seems to be the best-kept secret in SCS 10! Maybe the title should be Changing Sub-Cues to Cues, Cues to Sub-Cues, and Moving Cues and Sub-Cues. It's a long title, but it should help users find the information.
Thanks for the note on the spurious text, Malcolm.
