Hi Mike

I read a post in the forum a while back regarding sync with video projection. I am currenting planning for a show which uses 3 AV environments, inc a live feed, text and picture animation (both back projected onto a screen) and another powerpoint presention for wmv premixed video which output to TV's around the audience.

My mouth waters at the prospect of cued video, which would make the operation of this production much simpler. When this is released would you be able to 'fade' the video on cue? Let's say for example that I have a neverending video of a city in the background and want to fade it out at a specific point. As we know, premixing isn't an option due to the varying pace of the actors.

I look forward to your reply. Also, I would be willing to run a test of a pre-release if availible, during my production if it would be useful.

All the best

Danny

Video cues will definitely be in the next major release of SCS but initially there will be no facilities to fade in or fade out the video image. I hope this is only a temporary limitation, but it depends on the necessary functionality being provided in the video playback software used by SCS.

You should also checkout Arkaos VJ, it has live feed, live fading etc and all features with dmx control. Also supporting multiple output. It's basic media server working in basic PC or Mac. Works fine as far as I have been testing with PC...
