Hi,
1. Production Properties:
Add trim to default devices and levels for new audio file cues
2. Fade out curve
Please add more options for the fade curves. At the moment the log fadeout starts fast and then slows down. I would prefer it to be 'reversed' - thats how most of the fadeouts are done on records.
3. Pan
The pan pot should be designed so that the sum of the intensities from the two loudspeakers remains constant as the signal is panned from one loudspeaker to the other. With the control central, the output level of the left hand channel needs to be -3dB with respect to its output when panned fully left. Similarly with the right channel.
An option to define the attenuation would be even better (-3db, -4,5db, -6db)
4. SFR cue facility for fading out all running cues.
5. GOTO Cue to create Cue-loops or re-use existing patterns
6. A 'Memo' Cue that does nothing except showing a note.
7. Add my vote to http://www.soundcuesystem.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=345

Walter

Some good suggestions here, Walter, several of which are already in the 'to do' list.
The pan control algorithm is currently as implemented in the audio library used by SCS, but I agree with you regarding dropping the levels when the pan is centered. This will need some careful planning as it means existing cues will then play at a lower level (unless they are panned fully left or fully right).
The Memo cue is definitely coming in the next major release - it's already coded and tested.

Maybe making it a global option which defaults to the current behaviour?Mike Daniell wrote: The pan control algorithm is currently as implemented in the audio library used by SCS, but I agree with you regarding dropping the levels when the pan is centered. I think it would be a useful feature to have during rehearsals - when the director stops the action a fast fade is much nicer than muting immediately.Mike Daniell wrote:This facility is already available with SFR cues - provided the cues affected have a 'fade-out time'. If they don't they will just be stopped.sound wrote:4. SFR cue facility for fading out all running cues.
Its not a 'high priority wish' for sure - could easily be done at the board with a VCA.
Maybe I shouldn't get too lazy
