The Time-based cues was a streak of genius on everyone’s part on the forum and Mike the different profile, great idea. I was playing with the time based cue and I thought of a slight change that might be helpful. Allow on each cue for time-based profiles to be manual. For example "Pre show Music” Evening 7:30pm Matinee 2:00pm Rehearsal Manual(Go). It's kind of a small thing but sometimes even in maybe a rehearsal you want to test all aspects of the show even Pre-show music with fades and everything. I started pre-show music with the editor and some how I could not get it to stop even with ESC STOP EVERYTHING so that was not a way to test pre-show.

Good suggestion which shouldn't be too difficult to implement. I'll see what I can do. I'll also check out the Stop Everything processing to prevent a TBC being re-started automatically if it has just been stopped. I guess that's what was happening? This would be because the 'time' had come to start the cue.

Could you give me a bit more info on the Time Based Cue not stopping when you hit ESC? I've tested it here and it works perfectly. Does the file re-start or just not stop at all? And which version of SCS are you using?

SCS 9.3.6 Actually it not really when the time-base cue starts. Set up a time-based playlist, now go in to the editor, at the bottom of the playlist editor screen and start the play list from the test player. Now click CLOSE EDITOR now try to stop the playlist from running. It seems to only run one song then stop. You have to shut the entire program to stop it.

OK, I've been able to reproduce this now. I'll work on a fix for 9.4.2.

There may be a bug in the new Manual/Time-based setup. For 9.4.2. I set up a playlist (Q1) with the standard evening 7 matinee 2 and the Rehearsal Manual. changing the time-based to rehearsal the playlist appears back on the Cue page. When I left click on a cue below the playlist(Q1) say Q5, the cue grid resets but the Manual-Go button sets up to the (Q1). Q1 will not be bypassed by left-clicking anywhere on the cue page.
