[Mod 11.10.5] Cue List Double-Click Options

Our local middle school shows are generally “Junior” musicals using track-playback. When we use my SCS laptop for rehearsals and shows the students and teachers approach it as if it where a typical Windows Media Player interface. They’ll need to jump around in the cue list during rehearsals so they double-click a track to select and play it. When the Editor window invariably pops up they get flustered and I get an earful of how SCS is “too hard to use” and “unintuitive” and on and on and on. Eventually they’ll learn, but the next year it’s a new batch of kids to teach and we go through the whole “It’s too hard to use” process when the Editor pops open.
If I’ve missed an option that turns that behavior off, I apologize for asking a question that’s probably been asked a thousand time, but can that “double-click” behavior be modified in a future version? Modest Proposal: An option could be set for “double-clicking” a cue in the cue list that:
A – Opens the Editor window focused on that cue (current action)
B – Treats the double-click as single click (just selects the cue)
C– Selects and immediately Plays the target cue (“like Windows”)
Personally I’d stick to A for me and B for the kids/teachers but some places might like the C option.
Thanks for considering this,
Mark
