VST Plugins

What are the possibilities of being able to support VST3 plugins in Show Cue?

SCS uses the BASS Audio Library and unfortunately this library does not support VST3. I responded to a BASS Forum posting requesting this over a year ago, but the BASS developer doesn't seem willing to work on an add-on for VST3.
