[Mod 11.10.3] Release from loop and start next cue
[Mod 11.10.3] Release from loop and start next cue
Hi Mike! For a production I need to exit a loop in a file and start next cue. If I use the SFR CUE with Release from loop the only available solution is "and then continue playback", I need instead that after that loop it launches the next manual cue (which is an other audio file and a fade out and stop of the looped tracked.
Is it possible?
thank you

Re: Release from loop and start next cue
You can set the next cue to be started with the start of the sfr cue.
Re: Release from loop and start next cue
Yes but in this way it doesn't wait the out of loop

Re: Release from loop and start next cue
From what you've described, it seems you will never want to play past the end of the loop. If that is correct, then set the 'End At' position to the same position as the end of the loop. Your next Audio File cue can then be set to start after the end of that first Audio File cue.

Genius!
Thank you Mike!

HELP MIKE!
I am trying release a looping video cue and then play the next cue seamlessly at the end of the loop.
The looping/repeating cue never releases and just continue to play!
What am I doing wrong?

- a 1:00m looping "preshow" video
- Release loop and continue playback
- AutoStart at end of looping video.

Preston,
Please email me your cue file (the .scs11 file) and tell me which cues are involved.

Could a Cue Marker work for you here?
Use it to trigger you next cue.

Re: Release from loop and start next cue
Video/Image cues and Playlist cues both include a 'Repeat' checkbox, but this is different from the 'Loop' feature of Audio File cues, because a loop in an Audio File cue specifies a particular part of the file that is to be looped. An Audio File cue may also contain more than one loop. Video/Image cues cues may contain many videos and images, and Playlist cues are expected to contain many audio files, so these cue types have a 'Repeat' property that enables the entire cue (actually sub-cue) to be continually repeated until it is stopped.
We have now added a new feature in SCS 11.10.3, which we expect to release soon. A new action is available in SFR cues: 'Cancel Repeat'. For Playlist or Video/Image cues that have 'Repeat' selected, this SFR action will cancel the repeat so that the Playlist or Video/Image Cue will complete when it reaches the end of the current cycle.
