Option to take cue description from filename rather than metadata

Dragging a file into the editor window creates a new cue, and attempts to populate the cue description from the file metadata, or from the filename if there is no metadata set. It would be really useful to have the option to force this to use the filename instead of the other data.
For example, if I have a music track called "01 Intro music.wav", I would like the cue description to be "01 Intro Music" rather than the actual name of the track as recorded in the metadata.
This choice could be presented each time, or there could be a master setting to select the preferred default action.
As a related further ask, I often drag and drop groups of files into the editor, making use of the "create playlist or add separate cues". It would be really useful to me if the order of the created cues was based on the filename rather than being (apparently) random.
Thanks
Rob
